Born in NYC and raised across the Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, and Miami, Arle Bordas brings a global perspective and deep creative sensibility to every production. Arle earned a degree in Film Studies at Columbia University, began his career in production in 2001, and joined the DGA in 2005.

As a First Assistant Director, Arle has worked on projects across the Americas, Africa, and Eastern Europe. He’s known for his detail-oriented leadership, calm under pressure, and genuine care for cast and crew alike. Arle takes a director’s vision to heart while respecting a producer’s bottom line — keeping productions safe, efficient, and often fun, no matter the size or scope.

Arle is fluent in Spanish and communicates with clarity and ease on set, regardless of scale, location, or circumstance. He applies decades of experience, formal training, and a deep respect for the collaborative process to every project he takes on.

Arle’s multicultural background and approachable energy allow him to connect naturally with cast and crew, foster trust, and keep productions moving smoothly. The result is a working environment that supports collaboration, efficiency, and strong creative outcomes.
